The Consulate issues visas to visitors originating from Sudan. Ugandan visas are also obtainable at the entry/exit points in Uganda, e.g. Entebbe International Airport, Busia, Malaba, Mutukula, Oraba, Bibia, Mirama Hills, Katuna, Mpondwe, Ishasha, Kikagati border points.
Visa Days : Uganda Consulate in Juba issues instant visas on every working day ( Monday to Friday from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm ). Special arrangements can be made for emergency cases over the weekend. The Consulate reserves the right to grant or deny a visa to Uganda.
Visa Fees:
(a) Holders of Diplomatic and Official Passports as well as UN, AU and IGAD Laises Passes are issued Gratis Visas (no fee charged);
(b) Holders of valid Ordinary Passports pay:
- US$ 50 for single entry visa;
- US$ 100 for multiple entry 6 months;
- US$ 200 for multiple entry 12 months, or
- Reciprical amounts: Underlying the Uganda Visa Policy is the principle of reciprocity. That is, all countries that require visas for Ugandans are also visa prone in Uganda, including charging reciprical rates for those countries charging above the Ugandan rates.
Other Visa Requirements are:
- Valid Passport

- Two recently taken passport photographs
- Covering letter of introduction
Work Permits: Applications for work permits and passes are referred to the Immigration Office in Kampala.
Passports: Issuance and renewal of Ugandan passports, through the Consulate, is done by Passport Control Office in Kampala
